The Wisconsin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin–Madison again found success for its graduate portfolio in the U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Graduate Schools rankings. Led by a strong showing in its working professional and specialty programs, the school continues to solidify its reputation as a global leader in business education.

The rankings highlight a strategic milestone for WSB: Its newly revised programs have qualified for top-tier rankings shortly after their launch. The Executive MBA debuted at #12 among public universities (#29 overall), while the Professional MBA climbed to #14 (#26 overall).

“Our reimagined hybrid programs were intentionally designed to meet the evolving needs of today’s professionals, and achieving national recognition at such an early stage underscores the strength of that vision,” said WSB’s Blair Nelson Sanford, associate dean of MBA and masters programs. “By combining flexibility with academic rigor, we are creating an environment where students can immediately apply classroom insights—whether in AI, analytics, or board governance—directly to their careers.”
