The Wisconsin School of Business has always been defined by its reach, yet our impact is truly felt across the breadth of our global community. With an alumni network that spans more than 80 countries, I am often reminded how leadership knows no borders. Throughout my international travels and stops at recent school events, I’ve connected with WSB alums in places like Hong Kong and South Korea—and seen firsthand how our graduates are leading boldly across industries such as manufacturing, finance, and real estate.
As our world becomes increasingly interconnected, the importance of our international business community cannot be understated. To that end, we’re strengthening relationships with Business Badgers across the world and making valuable connections that ultimately lead to new strategic partnerships, experiential learning opportunities, and cultural exchange experiences that will prepare students to lead with a global mindset.
In this issue, you’ll meet alumni who are creating significant global impact through their unique roles, including Hershey CFO Steve Voskuil, whose company’s chocolate is sold in more than 80 countries worldwide. You’ll be introduced to Elle Mannion, who helps bring music to millions across the world through a one-of-a-kind concert series. You’ll also read about this year’s 8 to Watch alumni, who are leading at internationally recognized companies like Microsoft, SoFi, and Barclays.
Throughout my ongoing travels across the U.S. and the world, one thing is abundantly clear: No matter how far one roams from Madison, that Badger spirit continues to shine as brightly as ever.
On, Wisconsin!
