Michael Walters is currently a Sourcing Agent at 3M, with commodity responsibility for Polyethylene Films, Polypropylene Films, and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients. Within this role, Michael manages all aspects of 3M’s supplier relationships including cost management, supply continuity, contract coverage, working capital execution, and new product introduction support. In addition, Michael leads 3M’s Sourcing Finance and Market Intelligence activities within the United States and Canada.
Michael graduated with his BBA from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2019, majoring in Operations and Technology Management (OTM) and Marketing with a Specialization in Supply Chain Management. Michael is currently pursuing his MBA from the University of Washington – Foster School of Business. Michael is also an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), serving on the National Young Professionals Committee and Twin Cities Roundtable Boards.
Michael currently resides in Denver, Colorado. Outside of work, he can be found spending his time outdoors cycling, snowboarding, and hiking.
