Puneet Pasricha is part of Liberty Mutual Insurance’s operations in India. He leads the the institutional business area at Liberty Videocon General Insurance (LVGI), including the corporate and financial institution groups, broker relationships, SME business, as well as government and weather verticals. In addition, as the head of corporate strategy, he overlooks the execution of high priority strategic and operational initiatives and laying out the strategic roadmap of the company.
Pascricha has more than 18 years of experience in setting up new businesses, strategy and business planning, mergers and acquisition, operations management, and excellence and execution. He has worked across the U.S., China, and India with a proven ability to develop new functions and operations from the ground up, as well as create new processes and systems with consistent service delivery. He was instrumental in Liberty Mutual’s India entry strategy, and was the first person to set up the company’s operations in India. Pascricha played a key role in establishing the operations and customer experience vertical, and then ventured into distribution with P&L responsibility as the head for institutional business.
Pasricha has been with Liberty Mutual Insurance for over 13 years, starting off in the Corporate Development Program. In 2013, he was selected to participate in Liberty Mutual’s Executive Development Program. As part of the global digital team for the Global Consumer Markets SBU, he is driving digital initiatives in country operations. Recently he has been recognized and awarded for Digital Transformation under the Operational Excellence category at the IDC DX Awards.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics in Mumbai, India, a Masters in Accounting and Financial Economics from University of Essex in England, and an MBA in risk management and insurance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Pascricha is married and has two children.
