EntrepreNews
Summer 2023
Greetings Alumni and Friends of the Weinert Center,
We are thrilled to spotlight the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit of our UW students and alumni in this newsletter. In this edition, we delve into the impact of entrepreneurial thinking and its promise to shape the future.
Over the summer, several of our alumni earned accolades in the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest and the DePaul University’s Pitch Competition. Their groundbreaking ideas hold the potential to benefit people and pets across the globe.
In addition, we provide insights into the personal journeys of some of our alumni and current student entrepreneurs. This year marked the 15th anniversary of our Morgridge Entrepreneurial Bootcamp, which saw an unprecedented number of participants.
Lastly, keep an eye out for updates on some key programs that run throughout the academic year, including the Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch, the Business & Entrepreneurship Clinic, and the Startup Learning Community.
Enjoy reading!
Sincerely,
Dan
