Zack Brenner Receives Prestigious University of Wisconsin System Administration (UWSA) Higher Education Fellowship

We are proud to announce that Real Estate MBA student Zack Brenner (MBA ’23) has been selected to receive the University of Wisconsin System Administration (UWSA) Higher Education Fellowship for the 2022-2023 academic year.  This prestigious fellowship program is designed to provide learning experiences to graduate and professional students interested in higher education, public policy, and leadership.  The Fellowship covers full tuition and includes a stipend and health insurance.

Brenner is among six Fellows who were selected among a highly competitive field of 37 excellent candidates. The Fellows will participate at various work sites at UW System Administration and UW-Madison and have the opportunity to learn the comprehensive leadership development skills needed to deepen their understanding of the higher education enterprise, and they will have exciting opportunities to engage with a variety of innovative strategic initiatives at UWSA and UW-Madison.

Brenner’s fellowship will specifically have a real estate focus where he will be able to utilize his MBA education by working in the UW-Madison Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration. Graaskamp Center Associate Director Greg Reed says, “This unique fellowship opportunity represents a collaboration to assist the UW System conduct market and stakeholder analysis for real estate initiatives as part of UW-Madison’s expanded relationship with University Research Park as well as other projects focus on operational benchmarking of competitors in the Big 10 and across the American Association of Universities.”
