Wunder is one of only three recipients to be recognized in the Innovation in Teaching category. His innovative work in the classroom focuses on helping students link statistical and economic ideas and concepts while drawing on his own educational background in physics. Wunder has taught business statistics and analytics and introductory risk management courses while at WSB.

Wunder received a B.S. in Physics and a B.S. in Mathematics from Mississippi State University. Prior to WSB, he worked in physics research at Texas A&M University, GE Healthcare, and the Wisconsin Institutes for Medical Research.

An award ceremony to honor the winners will take place Feb. 20, 2018.
