Chuck has specialized in the development and acquisition mixed-use commercial real estate projects for over 30 years.  He received an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also obtained a Master of Science Degree in Real Estate.  Mr. Murphy’s expertise includes real estate development, finance, acquisitions and asset management, drawing on his extensive breadth of domestic and international real estate development experience to deliver on complex, multi-phase projects. Before joining LCS in 2020, Mr. Murphy’s career included senior leadership roles at Hammes Company, The Walt Disney Company, GE Capital Real Estate, and as a Principal within private equity real estate platforms.

Approximately 4,000-acre, mixed-use commercial development, including office, hospitality, residential and business park.  Responsibilities include business planning, development and master planning

The Walt Disney Company

Walt Disney Imagineering | Celebration, FL

4,900-acre new urbanist community developed by The Walt Disney Company.  A $2.5 billion mixed-use community, Celebration is comprised of 3,000 homes, pedestrian-oriented retail and dining, two million square feet of office and business park, worship centers, community centers, elementary school, high school, Florida Hospital Celebration Health campus, and an 18-hole golf course.

Walt Disney Imagineering | Paris, France

In conjunction with the recapitalization of EuroDisney, reconstituted the business plan for all commercial development in Val’ d’Europe, adjacent to Disneyland Paris in Marne la Vallee, France.  Comprehensive development program includes single family and multi-family development, a commercial complex and business park of 50,000 square meters of office, retail, dining and entertainment.

The Disney Development Company | Orlando, FL

Created business plan, master plan and obtained entitlements for 2,100-acre mixed-use resort community near Walt Disney World, in Reunion, Florida.  Development entitlements include 6,000 units of single family and multi-family residences, golf courses, and 600,000 square feet of resort and commercial development.

GE Capital Real Estate | Chicago, IL

Negotiated and managed acquisitions, dispositions, financings and joint venture development agreements as a Principal with InterPark, LLC, total transaction volume exceeded $1.5 billion, including mixed-use development projects in Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Atlanta and Minneapolis
