Don’t be afraid to pivot or ask questions. This is your degree, and you have the full responsibility to make it the best experience possible. Whether it’s reaching out to faculty, exploring a new area of interest, or shifting your career focus, take ownership of your learning and don’t hesitate to advocate for yourself. Also, take full advantage of the in-person events outside of the professional program. They’re a great way to build strong relationships with your classmates and professors, which really enhances the program. Finally, stay organized, stay engaged, and remember that the more you put into the experience, the more you’ll get out of it.
