Ben Brandenburg is currently an Associate Buyer at Target on the Snacks team. His role as a retail merchant focuses on planning an assortment that caters to Target’s guest while driving margin and sales. He works closely with the merchandise roundtable – which includes partners in sourcing, inventory, and financial planning. In addition, he manages vendor relationships to ensure reliable inventory and innovative product. Prior to his current role, Ben was an Inventory Analyst on the Dairy team, ordering and positioning product in Target’s supply chain network. If you’ve ever purchased cheese or yogurt from your local Target, he was the one making sure it was on the shelf!
Ben graduated with his BBA from the Wisconsin School of Business in 2022 majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations and Technology Management, and Marketing. He served on the SCM Board as Director of Corporate Relations and traveled to Germany his senior year as part of the Global Experience program.
Ben lives in Minneapolis, MN and spends his free time golfing, trying new restaurants, and traveling to new cities. He is an avid Badger sports fan and still attends a few football and basketball games every year with family and friends.
