Heather Wollerman is a Human Resources Executive with over 25 years of global experience leading transformational talent and culture strategies. She currently serves as Vice President of Talent Management and Chief Culture Officer at McGraw Hill, a global leader in educational technology. In this role, Heather is responsible for advancing a culture of performance, engagement, and innovation while aligning talent strategy with long-term business objectives.

Heather has built her career driving enterprise-wide human capital initiatives across global organizations, particularly within complex, engineering-driven industries. She brings deep expertise in culture transformation, employee engagement, organizational design, talent acquisition, inclusion & belonging, leadership development, and succession planning. Recognized for her strategic mindset and collaborative leadership, Heather is a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders and a passionate advocate for building agile, people-centered organizations.

Heather’s journey in Human Resources began at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she earned her BBA in Management and Human Resources. Her time on campus, both in the classroom and as a member of the Women’s Lightweight Rowing Team, was formative in shaping her commitment to excellence, leadership, and service. Inspired by the university’s HR program and faculty, Heather is deeply committed to giving back to the UW–Madison community and advancing the next generation of HR leaders.

As a board member of the Strategic Human Resources Board at the University of Wisconsin – Madison School of Business, Heather brings a global perspective, a track record of transformative HR leadership, and a strong connection to the university’s mission. She currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina, and enjoys spending time with her two daughters, traveling, and rowing on Lake Wylie. A proud Badger, Heather remains passionate about contributing to the ongoing evolution of the HR profession and supporting the strategic growth of UW–Madison’s SHR program.
