Jose is a Process Expert for Supply Chain Design & Optimization at ALDI SÜD, based in Mülheim, Germany, where he is currently on an expatriate assignment. In this role, he collaborates with product owners, solution & architecture teams, IT developers, and business end users across five countries. Jose leads business transformation initiatives that plan, strategize, and optimize supply chain operations, delivering multi-million-dollar savings since product deployment. He also manages strategic enablement programs, including Freight Agreement, Transportation Network, and Sourcing Information cross-system integration.
Previously, Jose was a Senior Logistics Analyst at Vista Outdoor, where he oversaw international freight operations in close coordination with overseas agents, shipping lines, and trade compliance teams. He directed freight procurement events and played a pivotal role in designing the company’s ocean transportation network. His contributions included leading nearshoring initiatives, onboarding 3PL warehouses, and enhancing supply chain visibility during the pandemic.
Jose earned his BBA in Marketing with a Specialization in Supply Chain Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2017, and his MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2022. He currently lives in Düsseldorf with his wife, Maria, and their goldendoodle, Milo. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, watching live sports, and exploring the outdoors.
