Precollege Entrepreneurship Boot Camp

FREE Entrepreneurship Boot Camp:
The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) Precollege Program provides high school students the opportunity to learn more about business majors, explore their leadership skills, and participate in applied learning activities.
The WSB Precollege program is partnering with StartUp Learning Community this Fall to offer High School students a FREE, innovative, fun, in person entrepreneurship workshop on Saturday, November 8th, from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, in person at UW-Madison.
Participants will work in teams to explore all stages of entrepreneurship from product design to creating a marketing pitch!
Lunch will be provided. *There is no cost for this activity. This event is FREE for participants.*
Students MUST complete our workshop application for this opportunity.
Applicant Requirements:
Applicants must…
(1) Commit to participating in the entire program activity
(2) Be a high school student (currently in grades 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade)
(3) Identify as ONE of the following:
- a first-generation college student (the first person in the family to attend college) and/or
- a low-income student (defined as someone who receives free or reduced lunch).
WSB Precollege will prioritize enrolling students who identify as low income or first generation. If you do not meet any of these participant requirements above, you are still encouraged to apply.
