Precollege Girls Exploring Business

High schoolers attended WSB Precollege’s past event for girl identifying youth on Saturday, April 6, 2024. The gathering allowed students to see the different pathways to the business world. WSB Precollege will be hosting an in person, Girls Exploring Business event at Grainger Hall, (located at 975 University Ave, Madison, WI) on Saturday, April 5, 2025 from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. During Girls Exploring Business, high school girls will receive the opportunity to gain insight about the business world from the perspective of and experience of women identifying WSB Alumnae and WSB students. Alumnae will share how they navigate preparing for and exploring their professional career paths after college. Participants will also get the opportunity to meet business students and participate in fun, interactive community building activities. Lunch will be provided.

 *There is no cost for this activity. This event is FREE for participants.*

*Applicant Requirements: *Applicants must meet ALL of the requirements below in order to be considered for this activity.*

Applicants must…
 (1) Commit to participating in the entire program activity
(2) Be a high school student (currently in grades 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade)
(3) Identify as a girl. Nonbinary high school students are also welcome to register.
(4) Identify as ONE of the following:
 Low Income (defined as a student who qualifies for free/reduced lunch)
– First Generation (First person in intermediate family to attend college)

*If students are not low income or first generation, students are still encouraged to register. You will be added to our waitlist and notified later if space is available.*
