Meet Maya Ransom (BBA ’25) — a #BusinessBadger whose career journey with @aldiusa began right here on campus!
Maya first connected with ALDI at a UW–Madison career fair during her junior year, which led to a 10‑week paid internship shadowing district managers and learning the ins and outs of the role. After graduation, she returned to ALDI full‑time as a District Manager.

📣“It’s a fantastic career, and fantastic place to work.
I felt like it really combined my two biggest passions in business which were managing people and improving processes, so it’s essentially what we do every day as a district manager — travelling around to a set of stores, leading people, driving sales, and managing change.”
ALDI’s mission is to provide high-quality products at the lowest possible prices, focusing on simplicity, consistency, and responsibility to our people and the planet.
ALDI is currently hiring!
📍 Location: Oak Creek Division (roles available across the greater Wisconsin region)
📝 Positions:
District Manager Intern (Summer 2026)
District Manager Trainee (Full‑time for recent grads and upcoming May grads)

Beyond the competition, students had the opportunity to connect with employers from industry leaders like @accenture, @ey, @deloitte, and @protiviti in 1:1 coffee chats, participate in career-building events, and gain valuable consulting experience. 🤝📝💡
The competition was made possible in part thanks to generous gifts from @wisalumni parents Ravi Mhatre and Kathryn Bojack and alumnus and @spauldingridge CEO Jay Laabs (BBA ’98).
🙌 A huge thank you to our sponsors, alumni, and industry partners who made this possible, including...
Our guest speaker @accenture Managing Director Amanda Kranz.
As well as our dedicated WSB team —Career & Employer Engagement, WSB Director of Consulting Tom Burkard, industry expert Amy Ross, the case writing team and our student volunteers from @badgerconsulting and @wisconsinconsultingclub.
Without you all, this event would not be possible! 🤗
