Dave Lenz founded NCG Hospitality in 1977. NCG Hospitality was formed for the purpose of developing, owning, and operating premium select-service hotels. Dave is responsible for the company’s long-term growth strategy and positioning in the hospitality industry.
Dave is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) by the American Hotel and Lodging Association (AHLA), was a founding member of the Hampton Inn Franchise Advisory Council, past member of the Courtyard by Marriott Franchise Advisory Council, past member of the Super 8 Motels President’s Advisory Council, and currently a board member of the University of Wisconsin James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate.
Beyond his industry leadership, Dave is active in several civic can community organizations. He was a founding member of the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House of Madison, is a charter member of the Badger Air Community Council (BACC), and belongs to the UW Bascom Hill Society, the United Way Alexis de Tocqueville Society, and the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association (WREAA), which honored him as its 2018 Distinguished Real Estate Alumnus.
Dave holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin Graaskamp Center for Real Estate. Earlier in his career, he worked as a commercial loan officer and appraiser for mortgage banking and savings & loan institutions. He also served for fourteen years as an officer in the 176th Fighter Squadron of the Wisconsin Air National Guard and was named as an Honorary Commander of the 115th Fighter Wing for his work with the Badger Air Community Council.
