Faculty Openings

The Department of Operations and Information Management (OIM) invites applications for a faculty position in the information systems area, to start fall 2020. Applicants should have demonstrated a capability for excellence in teaching and research. Applications at all ranks are welcomed, but preference will be given to candidates currently at the senior assistant professor rank or higher.

To ensure full consideration, applications should be received by November 1, 2019, but applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

Multiple Faculty Positions in Business Analytics

The Wisconsin School of Business seeks applicants for full-time, nine-month, tenure track appointments to begin August 17, 2020, or later. The positions are at the full or associate professor with tenure level. Current full, associate, and senior assistant professors will be considered. Appointees would be responsible for teaching graduate and undergraduate students in Business Analytics and related fields at the Wisconsin School of Business, conducting scholarly research and performing service and outreach.

Business Analytics has a presence across all programs at the Wisconsin School of Business, including a Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics and our new M.S. in Business Analytics. The School has prioritized this area and is working closely with industry to enhance the analytics content offered throughout the school. All relevant disciplines will be considered, though the appointee will ultimately reside in an academic department within the school. Applicants with primary interest in the Operations and Information Management department are expected to have a tenurable research record in operations management, information systems, management science, operations research, statistical modeling and/or economics.
