Kendra McAdams is a Lead Human Resources Business Partner at Wells Fargo, supporting the Card, Merchant Services, and Personal Lending organization. In this role, she serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planning across a complex, growth-oriented business. She partners closely with executives to guide change management, strengthen leadership capability, and advance a culture focused on performance, inclusion, and employee engagement.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Kendra spent 13 years with Bank of America in various HR generalist roles. She provided comprehensive support for employees and leaders while delivering core HR processes, including performance management, organizational design, talent acquisition and development, and compensation strategy. Her work spanned several major business groups—including Risk, Corporate Treasury, Enterprise Credit, Retail Banking, and Specialized Consumer Sales—giving her broad exposure to global financial services and large-scale operating environments. Kendra began her career at Bank of America through the HR Development Program after completing graduate school.

Earlier in her career, she worked in sales and internal consulting for a financial analysis software company in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Originally from Northern California, Kendra resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband, Scott, and their two children. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Spanish from Wake Forest University and an MBA in Strategic Human Resource Management from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. She has held several volunteer leadership roles, including Chair of the Wisconsin Business Alumni Board, and has supported organizations such as Art with Heart, the Arts and Science Council, Christ Lutheran Church, and the Wisconsin Alumni Association–Charlotte Chapter. In 2016, she was recognized as one of the Wisconsin School of Business’s “8 to Watch Under 40.” Kendra currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the WSB Strategic Human Resource Management Center and remains active in her children’s school and community activities.
