Since joining us as Director of the Graaskamp Center last November, Jacques Gordon has played a pivotal role in raising the visibility and strengthening the reputation of the Wisconsin Real Estate Program through his active industry engagement and thought leadership. In just his first year, Gordon has represented the Center and the program at a wide range of high-profile events across the country — from moderating interviews with industry leaders to presenting on timely topics like real estate and climate change.
His efforts have connected students, alumni, and faculty with influential voices in the field while expanding the program’s presence within national forums such as the Graaskamp Center – MIT Real Estate Conference, the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Institute, and the American Meteorological Society Annual Meeting. Through panels, board meetings, property tours, and academic conferences, Gordon continues to reinforce the Wisconsin Real Estate Program’s standing as a leader in both industry practice and academic research.
Gordon brings to the role a distinguished background in real estate, including nearly three decades as Global Head of Research and Strategy at LaSalle Investment Management. There, he led investment research across 30 countries, directed the Investment Strategy Group, and served on both the Management and Investment Committees.
