We are now hiring for our Business Math Bridge program Summer 2025. This program supports undergraduate business students with developmental math skills. Taking place between from August 21st-26th, with training August 19th and 20th, the Business Math Bridge program is open to any business interested first year student at UW-Madison (both pre-business and direct-admit students) who places into a pre-calculus math course. The program will consist of math content and study skill development as well as networking opportunities, a mini case competition, and exposure to core business constructs, all framed through a math-centric lens.
We are currently hiring undergraduate peer mentors and graduate student instructors for this program. Applicants must have earned at least an AB in Math 211/Calculus 1 (with preference for students who have also taken Math 96/Math 112). Ideally, they would also have some teaching/tutoring experience.
