Stephanie Krewson-Kelly is Vice President of Investor Relations at Corporate Office Properties Trust (NYSE: OFC). In addition to her analytical, accounting and communication skills, Ms. Krewson-Kelly possesses extensive knowledge of capital allocation strategies employed by REITs over the past three decades.
Between 2015 and 2017, Ms. Krewson-Kelly led OFC’s initiative to develop robust environmental, social, and governance (ESG) reporting, and continues to serve as an active participant on OFC’s ESG Committee. She also serves as an adjunct professor of real estate capital markets at the Franklin L. Burns School of Real Estate & Construction Management at Denver University, is a Board
member of the James A. Center for Real Estate Applied REIT program at the Wisconsin School of Business, and is a CEO-Nominated Candidate, NYSE Board Advisory Council Network.
Ms. Krewson-Kelly’s REIT industry career began in 1994 and includes work in investment banking (1994‒1997), as a sell-side analyst (1997‒2009), as vice president of a REIT (2011‒present), and as an internationally published author (2016‒present). As a stock analyst covering REITs, she worked at Salomon Smith Barney (now Citi Research) and at JP Morgan Chase in New York City; she then spent five years in Richmond, Virginia, heading up BB&T Capital Market’s REIT research team.
Her most recent industry publication, Educated REIT Investing: The Ultimate Guide to Understanding and Investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (John Wiley & Sons, 2020), is a comprehensive textbook and is an expansion of her earlier work, The Intelligent REIT Investor: How to build Wealth with Real Estate Investment Trusts (John Wiley & Sons, 2016). Prior to her career in the REIT industry, Ms. Krewson-Kelly worked in internal audit for a global corporation in Paris, France.
Ms. Krewson-Kelly earned a B.S. in Economics from University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, as well as a B.A. in English from its College of Arts & Sciences
