Evan Meyer, Global Supply Chain Manager with AriensCo, is building a team to develop and implement supply chain strategy for new strategic opportunities within the RapidCare business unit, which provides spare parts and after-sales support for the Ariens and Gravely brands of outdoor power equipment. He joined AriensCo in January 2022 to support the implementation of a pick-to-voice system and optimize warehouse operations during the transition of parts fulfillment to a new distribution center, which went live in June.
Prior to AriensCo, Evan managed suppliers in multiple categories of components and finished goods for Vollrath, a major manufacturer of commercial kitchen equipment, and worked as Global Product Manager in the pump industry. He is an alum of the Raytheon Supply Chain Leadership Development program, where he rotated through various roles in Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Program Management before leading supply chain cost reduction initiatives in the development of the Stormbreaker precision glide bomb. He is a veteran of the US Army, serving two tours in Iraq with the 82nd Airborne Division as an Arabic linguist.
Evan holds an MBA specializing in Supply Chain from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in Classics from Saint Olaf College. Outside of his “day job”, he enjoys dabbling in entrepreneurship—handling the bookkeeping for a machine shop he co-owns with his brother and establishing a market gardening business with his wife, Bethany. He lives in Fort Wayne, Indiana with her, four small children, and a large dog.
