John Kenny, a Wisconsin School of Business graduate is Partner and President of FreeFlow Technology, Inc., a Software as a Service (SaaS) company. Prior to his appointment with FreeFlow in 2004, John spent 30 years in sales and supply chain management positions in the technology and consumer products industries. He held senior operations positions with 3Com, Hewlett-Packard, Joseph E. Seagram & Sons and Standard Brands, Inc. John is a recognized thought leader in supply chain management and has had articles appear in the Journal of Business Logistics, Supply Chain Digest and Supply Chain Management Review.
John is a member of the Bascom Hill Society and served as a member of the University of Wisconsin Foundation for 32 years. He was a charter member of Wisconsin Business Alumni (WBA) organization and served four consecutive terms on the WBA board. He was Chair of the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management Executive Advisory Board from its inception in 1994 until 2018. John was recognized in 2012 by the Wisconsin School of Business, earning the school’s Shape the Future Award in its inaugural year. The award recognizes alumni who have given time and expertise to help create transformational experiences for Wisconsin School of Business students. In June 2016, commemorating the 100th anniversary of US Army ROTC, John was inducted into the inaugural class of the US Army ROTC National Hall of Fame as an alumnus of the University of Wisconsin-Badger Battalion. Hall of Fame induction is awarded to alumni whose character and distinguished service epitomize the qualities Army ROTC embodies – “Leadership Excellence.”
John earned a BS at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, a BBA with distinction and an MBA from the Wisconsin School of Business.
