On March 29, Michael Hilfiker delivered his presentation on the Antitrust M&A Regulatory Review Process and the AT&T / Time Warner Deal.  Michael is a 2nd year Nicholas Center MBA student who has significant antitrust experience including a $20 billion hardware company merger review and economic analysis, a $6 billion retail merger review and economic analysis, a large communications transaction merger review and economic analysis and a $600MM settlement analysis in an anticompetitive enforcement against a large food distribution.  In his presentation, Michael discusses the historical timeline of antitrust, the trends in M&A and antitrust enforcements, key actors, the M&A review and antitrust enforcement process, the AT&T / Time Warner case study and next generation regulatory frameworks.
