About Joanna

Joanna Wangerin received her bachelor’s in business administration and master’s in professional accountancy from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. She currently serves as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison teaching various courses in introductory and intermediate accounting. Prior to her time at UW-Madison, Joanna served as an Instructor at Michigan State University. She started her career in public accounting with Ernst & Young and Deloitte & Touche. During this time, she served clients in a variety of industries, including banking, insurance, and asset management.
