What if you could drink a cup of coffee to calm your nerves before a big presentation? What if you could overcome depression with a pint of ice cream? Fellow foodies and travelers of the world, Kwadwo Owusu-Ofori, founder of Satori Food Project, is trying to create that future. Inspired by a trip to Ghana, he uses design theory to promote mental health and wellness through vitamin-enhanced food products. Twi Pods, the company’s first product line, are anxiety-relieving coffee and hot cocoa pods for Keurig coffee brewers, are sold on Amazon and estimates a market of $130 billion.
This free event is held in Room 5110 Grainger Hall.
