Classes are highly collaborative so I have developed great relationships—a culture that helped me ease into the program. My classmates across specializations have helped me prepare for job interviews and improve communication and networking skills. They have coached me to be a better version of myself.
The specialization focus of the program is definitely the highlight for me at Wisconsin. In class, the varied opinions of people from different business functions helps me appreciate diverse contributions and leads to some stunning conversations and enlightening debates. I look forward to my career with this lens of both diversity and collaboration.

The program’s variety of applied learning activities connects classroom learning to real world applications. I am enjoying opportunities ranging from site visits, industry guest lectures, and cross-specialization applied learnings as a great way to learn about specific industries outside the classroom. I participated in an amazing simulation game that taught me how to use SAP industry software, but also helped me understand the importance of trust and respect in cross-functional team assignments.
I have participated in seven case competitions so far, which gave me opportunities to lead, follow, and drive teams. The fast-paced nature of case competitions has helped me develop strong leadership skills. I learn better in challenging circumstances, and through case competitions I learned the concepts of servant leadership, leadership without direct authority, and getting a team out of analysis paralysis. Developing these leadership skills will guide many of my professional achievements in the years to come.
