Lauren is a 2020 graduate of the Wisconsin School of Business. She majored in Operations and Technology Management and Marketing, with a Certificate in Supply Chain Management. The Grainger Center was a prominent part of her WSB experience, so she is thrilled to continue her involvement in the program that she calls home.
Upon graduation, Lauren started in Abbott’s three-year Operations Professional Development Program. Graduating in the thick of the pandemic, her first year-long rotation was working in the warehouse of the start-up site supplying Covid-19 BinaxNOW tests to the US government. These were the very tests that the UW system rolled out to be able to safely keep students learning on campus. In her second rotation, she was a production supervisor of a team of 60 operators producing TactiCath SE Ablation Catheter. Lauren’s final rotation brought her to Costa Rica where she worked in tissue supply planning for the transaortic valve Navitor. She decided to stay in this role post-program, relocating to Minneapolis, MN with frequent travel to Costa Rica.
In her free time, Lauren loves cheering on all Wisconsin sports, spending time outdoors, especially on the lakes, and recently, practicing salsa dancing. Go Badgers!
