On March 26, 2019, a group of Nicholas Center MBAs led a panel discussion for UW’s Women in Finance & Accounting (“WiFA”). The Nicholas Center MBA panelists included Emma Ebert, Hailey Nguyen, Ann Jiang, Angela Lee and Mary Roberts. The panelists offered advice on the different types of finance roles, career path evolution, tactics for landing an internship or a full-time job and the importance of building and maintaining a network. The Nicholas Center has developed an ongoing relationship with WiFA whose primary mission is to develop the leadership skills of young females at the Wisconsin School of Business pursuing a degree in finance or accounting. The female MBA students of the Nicholas Center, led by Emma Ebert, attended WiFA’s Spring Kick-Off meeting on February 12 and have worked closely with the WiFA Co-Presidents Erin Hamilton and Ella Hosack to strengthen the connection with our organization. The Nicholas Center looks forward to participating in WiFA events and further supporting their mission. Thanks to Emma, Hailey, Ann, Angela and Mary for supporting a core mission of the Nicholas Center to promote the careers of women in finance!
