Biography
Deb Houden, PhD, is an adjunct faculty member at the Wisconsin School of Business teaching Negotiations for the Executive MBA, Evening MBA, Center for Professional Development, the Center for Advanced Studies in Business, and the Graduate School of Engineering. She has also taught numerous courses at the undergrad level in Interpersonal Communication, Communication and Conflict Resolution, and Issues in Family Business Ownership.
Dr. Houden is also a consultant with Deb Houden & Associates, working with family enterprises on differing needs including developing effective communication and conflict resolution skills, facilitating various negotiated agreements (including shareholder and family employment agreements), developing family meetings, board development, and preparing younger generational members of family firms.
