As if retiring from Edward Jones Financial Advisers, yes I’m talking about that Edward Jones, as a Limited Partner, a Subordinated Limited Partner and a General Partner was not enough, our guest this week started his own successful business as well. Steve Goldberg graduated from the WSB with a double major in management and finance in 1981 and used his degree in a marketing position to grow Edward Jones as a firm from having 400 retail offices in 1983 to 12,000 in 2012. In 2013, Steve co-founded Benchmark Securities and Fixed Income Solutions, the latter being a tech solution for municipal bond trading firms.
