With a belief that students of all ages can transform their dreams into reality through education, Marcus Alston (MBA ’19) founded DreamVest, a nonprofit that helps adult students complete college, as well as skilled trade and professional certification programs.
Alongside this meaningful work, he`s helping shape the talent, leadership, and organization required to scale a business at the center of Cisco’s AI transformation.

From connecting Badgers to experiential learning opportunities to mentoring countless students and supporting emerging programs, Kurt Kober (MBA ’07) has cemented himself as a champion for WSB.
His work on WSB’s External Advisory Board to enhance the reputation and reach of the school while charting his own career success also make it easy to see why this founder and CEO has been named as one of the 2026 WSB Impact Award recipients.
