The following message about U.S. News & World Report rankings was shared with the WSB community:
Dear WSB friends,
I wanted you to know that U.S. News & World Report released its annual rankings for MBA programs today. Our Wisconsin Full-Time MBA Program tied for 35th, up two spots from last year, while the Wisconsin Evening MBA Program placed 22nd among part-time programs, rising 10 places. Among public institutions, our full-time MBA program ranks 14th and our evening MBA program is 13th.
Out of 500 AACSB-accredited business schools in the United States, we are one of a handful with three degree programs ranked among the best in the nation, including our BBA program that is ranked 18th (eighth among public institutions).
As we continue to invest in our full-time, evening, and executive MBA programs, we are diversifying our portfolio with the addition of three new M.S. business degrees in business analytics, real estate, and supply chain management. We have more degree options in the pipeline along with more online courses.
Demand for our undergraduate BBA program remains high, pushing total WSB enrollment to 3,700 this year—about 9% higher than last year and significantly more than the 1,975 students enrolled when the east wing of Grainger Hall opened in 2008-2009. In partnership with campus leaders, we will work to sustain this growth over the coming years, with a goal of reaching 5,000.
Strong enrollments, solid rankings, and steadfast support put us on a sustainable growth trajectory, burnishing our reputation as a premier broad-based business school.
