Why choose Wisconsin?
I chose the real estate program near the end of my undergraduate degree while I was working as a Housing Assistant Intern at Porchlight, Inc. During this time, my exposure and knowledge of residential leasing practices grew exponentially and I quickly began seeking advancement to a new, higher level. Pursuing this MS degree will allow me to learn hard skills related to real estate, a profession that I truly love and want to excel in. The immense network that spreads across the globe was also very important, as going somewhere where there is a large, professional network is important to me.

Advice:
Learn your interests and practice speaking about yourself in the best light. This is something that took me a while to grasp and I feel that my professional and personal life took a serious upturn when I delineated those things. Learning your interests is important, as your future experiences will be more likely catered to what you want to do rather than what you feel is the right path. Knowing this makes you more confident in deciding your future, but also in speaking about yourself. Being able to speak about yourself and hype up your accomplishments and say that you learned from failures is a strong quality any candidate can have.

Fun fact:
I grew up in the same hometown as Devin Booker!
