By Lee Gottschalk

August 7, 2024

Friday, October 11 * 8:30 am – 3:15 pm * Fluno Center * Madison, WI

For decades, new housing production has lagged behind household growth in the United States, leading to an acute shortage of affordable homes. The housing supply challenge is so profound that businesses of all sizes increasingly cite housing unaffordability as a primary barrier to attracting, retaining, and developing diverse and productive workforces. In addition, millions of low- and moderate-income families pay unsustainable rents while millions more can’t afford to buy their first home.

There is no single solution to align housing supply with demand.  Alleviating the problem requires a comprehensive, all-in approach from the private sector, local, state and federal governments, community members and nonprofits.  Our expert presenters and panelists from industry, government and academia will share share ideas, best practices, and innovative yet practical solutions that are working in our communities today. You will take away ideas and strategies to help you, your organization, and community to better align housing supply and demand.
