On Wednesday, November 3, 2021, Joe Boucher, Senior Lecturer in the Wisconsin School of Business, WAVE Advisory Board Member, co-founder of the Wisconsin Innovation Awards and long-time attorney at Neider & Boucher S.C., received the Excellence in Entrepreneurial Education (known as the Triple E) award during the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium‘s annual conference. Launched by the Wisconsin Technology Council, the Triple E award highlights the importance of teaching and mentoring entrepreneurs and is based on:
Delivering outstanding quality in teaching entrepreneurship and/or mentoring entrepreneurs, in or out of the classroom;
Stimulating innovative methods for teaching or mentoring entrepreneurs;
Promoting entrepreneurial education and mentorship among scholars, policymakers, practitioners and others;
Providing a significant contribution to the development of best practices in the field.
Joe also sponsors the Weinert Center’s highly popular Distinguished Entrepreneurs Lunch program where entrepreneurs tell their unique stories and share their knowledge and expertise with the students along with providing valuable advice.
