Spring 2025 BBA Graduation Celebration

Friday, May 9 | 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Join us for the Wisconsin School of Business Spring Undergraduate Graduation Celebration on Friday, May 9, 2025 at the Alliant Energy Center, Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Doors open at 12:30 pm, the program will run from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Graduates and guests are invited to the celebration event recognizing the accomplishments of the BBA Class of 2025.


Share your story! Apply to speak at the BBA Graduation Celebration​

We are seeking a student that can share their personal experience as a Business Badger and speak to all 900+ graduates. Apply to speak at the BBA Graduation Celebration and share your story with your peers. ​

Applications include contact information, resume and a short video sharing your personal experiences and what you would like to share in your speech. Applications close Sunday, February 16!


Event Registration & RSVP Opens in March

Event registration & RSVP will open in March 2025, and close Friday, May 2, 2025. This is not a ticketed event and there is no limit on number of guests each graduate can bring. Seating for guests will be first come-first served. While there is no ticketing for this event, it is highly recommended that all graduates planning to attend complete the RSVP.

Post-Graduation Survey

Please fill out this Post-Graduation Survey sharing with us your plans after graduation. The data helps inform students of what makes an offer competitive, so by completing this survey, you will help us help future Badgers.

Reserve Your Cap and Gown

Graduates should wear academic regalia (cap and gown) over business professional attire for the Spring BBA Graduation Celebration and the official campus Commencement at Camp Randall. View the University Book Store’s timeline for deadlines to order and pick up your regalia.

Diploma Covers

Graduates will receive their diploma cover as they cross the stage with their name read. Diploma covers are empty, but graduates will receive via mail their printed diplomas.

Name Reading

Upon arrival, graduates will need to check-in and pickup their pre-printed cards. Hold onto the cards until you cross the stage where it will be read and displayed. Please consider if you will need to use phonetic spelling to ensure your name is pronounced correctly and include that in your event registration.

Arrival & Seating

All graduates should arrive no later than 1:30 pm. All gradates will enter the main Hall together, but there is no assigned seating. Graduates are welcome to stand by their friends and process into the Hall together for seating.

Guest Information

Food and Beverage

The Alliant Energy Center will have concessions available for guest purchase. Guests are welcome to bring their own bottled water into the event and personal snack items. No food and beverage is provided at this event.

Arrival and Seating

Doors open at 12:30 pm, and we ask that all guests are seated by 2:00 pm to begin the program. Seating is first come – first served. Please review the accessibility arrival and seating instructions if you or your guests have accessibility requests.

Live Stream

The program will be live streamed starting at 2:00 pm CST. A link will be provided on this website closer to the event.

Program

A downloadable program will be available on this website closer to the event. A printed program with graduate names will be available for all attendees of the Saturday, May 12 Camp Randall Commencement. Graduates must have applied to graduate prior to March 21 to have their name featured in the Camp Randall program.

Wheelchairs are not available at the Alliant Energy Center. Guests should provide their own equipment for accessibility needs.

The event is live-streamed online, and also projected on large display screens at the event. On the live-stream and screens, closed captioning is provided for the hearing impaired.

General Parking

Parking at Alliant Energy Center – Coliseum is complimentary to BBA Graduation Celebration attendees. There are two parking areas and two main entrances. Please follow signage and parking attendant directions upon arrival.

If you do not have transportation to the Alliant Energy Center, consider taking the bus or using a ride share service, such as Uber or Lyft. Bus Route O runs from Johnson Street to the Alliant Energy Center every hour.
