How much can an audit report really tell you about a company’s tax strategy? Turns out—a lot.

New research co-authored by accounting professor Dan Lynch shows that when auditors flag tax issues in reports, it can change how investors and companies behave.

📊 The study looked at thousands of UK companies and found that these tax disclosures may influence how transparent companies are—and even what services they buy from their auditors.
