Celebrating 125 Years of Business Excellence

In 1900, students at the newly founded School of Commerce—now the Wisconsin School of Business—were diving into courses like Industrial History of England and Banking and the Mechanism of Exchange.

Fast forward to 2025, and WSB students are still mastering the fundamentals of finance and management—but they’re also exploring cutting-edge topics like Machine Learning for Business Analytics and Business Sustainability. 🌱🤖

As we mark our 125th anniversary, we honor the legacy of business education while embracing the future. Join us this fall as we kick off a yearlong celebration filled with events, stories, and ways to get involved across all WSB channels!
