Confrontation can be scary. In this workshop, we will discuss strategies for engaging in all types of difficult conversations.
This workshop falls under the Interpersonal Communication competency and counts towards the Personal Leadership Styles Badge.
This workshop will raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by International Students of Color here in the US. It will also provide some strategies to help us all promote understanding and stand in solidarity for effective anti-racism actions.
This workshop falls under the Context and Culture competency and counts towards the Inclusive Leadership Badge.
In this workshop, students will learn how successful organizations thrive by fostering an environment that promotes creativity and innovation, and recognize ways they can use their own leadership abilities to encourage innovation within a group or organization.

The ALC hosts two annual Case Competitions: The P&G Case Competition is for first-year students as an opportunity to learn more about Case Competition best practices. The ALC Leadership Case Competition provides a unique opportunity for personalized feedback and advice from seasoned executives.
Take time and give back to the community during one of our low-commitment service days. The ALC provides transportation and food for all participants.
Our annual ALC Leadership Conference provides an opportunity for you to delve in deeper to a variety of leadership topics while sharing your own experiences and networking with your peers.
Full day leadership conference focusing on the theme of “Trusted to Lead.” This conference will consist of guest speaker keynotes, break-out session workshops, panel of student leaders, networking opportunities, and more.

Our annual Change Forum will walk you through the process of creating a “Change Action Plan.” This plan will serve as a transferrable tool to use in creating positive change in the future.
Change is inevitable. As a leader, it’s important to be intentional about creating positive change. This forum will walk students through the creation of a “Change Action Plan” to help them identify a change they’d like to see within a group or community and develop strategies for implementation.
