The Accenture Leadership Center (ALC) hosts several events throughout the semester, including case competitions, workshops, and service events. Sign up for an event to get involved—no experience necessary! Email alc@wsb.wisc.edu with questions about events.

Workshops

Join in for our interactive workshops geared towards building your leadership skills. All of our workshops count towards one of our Business Badger Badges and the campus-wide Leadership Certificate.

What it Means to be an Ally

Tuesday, October 26 — 4:00pm5:00pm

Define ally and learn about what it really means to be one. Have an awareness of steps and create a plan for your allyship journey.

This workshop falls under the Inclusive Engagement value and counts towards the Inclusive Leadership Badge.

Registration is not required.

Conflict Management

Wednesday, November 3 — 4:00pm5:00pm

Students will identify different types of conflict and learn how to address them.

This workshop falls under the Fostering Bridge Building and Collaboration competency and counts towards the Group Dynamics Badge.

Confidence as a Presenter

Wednesday, November 10 — 4:00pm5:00pm

Confidence while presenting can communicate presenters’ competence and passion but is not always easy to show. Here, we will discuss tips and tricks to radiate confidence during a presentation.

This workshop falls under the Interpersonal Communication competency and counts towards the Personal Leadership Styles Badge.

Case Competitions

The ALC hosts two annual Case Competitions: The P&G Case Competition is for first-year students as an opportunity to learn more about Case Competition best practices. The ALC Leadership Case Competition provides a unique opportunity for personalized feedback and advice from seasoned executives.

ALC Case Competition

Saturday, December 4 — 8:00am6:00pm

Students will engage with teams on determining the best approach to solve a real-world business problem, or “case”. The case will focus on leadership issues within an organization.

This event counts towards the Group Dynamics Badge. Individuals will be able to register as an individual or a team of five.  Registration information will be available soon.

Service Weeks

Take time and give back to the community during one of our low-commitment service days. The ALC provides transportation and food for all participants.

Leadership Conference

Our annual ALC Leadership Conference provides an opportunity for you to delve in deeper to a variety of leadership topics while sharing your own experiences and networking with your peers.
