Kevin A. Crummy is the Chief Investment Officer at Douglas Emmett. Prior to joining Douglas Emmett in 2014, Kevin spent 20 years at Eastdil Secured, a real estate investment banking company, where he was a Managing Director, responsible for sales and recapitalizations in Los Angeles, Hawaii and other major West Coast markets. Mr. Crummy also led the Eastdil Secured team that sourced Asian based capital for real estate transactions in the United States and Europe.
Douglas Emmett is one of the largest owners and operators of high-quality office buildings and multifamily properties in Los Angeles County and Hawaii. The Company’s office and multi-family portfolio is located in nine California submarkets, six of which are located on Los Angeles’ Westside – Brentwood, Century City, Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, the Olympic Corridor, and Westwood. Three submarkets are in the San Fernando Valley – Sherman Oaks/Encino, Warner Center/Woodland Hills, and Burbank. The Company’s Hawaii office portfolio is located in the downtown central business district of Honolulu with multi-family properties in nearby suburban communities.
Mr. Crummy currently serves on the Board of Advisors of the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate at the Wisconsin School of Business and is an active member in the Urban Land Institute. He is also on the board of St. Paul the Apostle School. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-School of Business. He lives in Westwood, California with his wife and their three children.
