The Wisconsin School of Business has several one-years master’s programs that might be a great fit for students. These programs are open to anyone on campus, and are a great fit for BBA students and students who have a certificate in business as well.
MA in Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership is not just for those interested in arts administration, it also prepares a person well for a career in the social sector leadership. This program does not require the GMAT or GRE.
MS in Business Analytics is an in-demand field. Students in this program will gain real world experience through the consulting projects. It starts in summer 2021 with a 4 week 3 credit online course. Students should have a strong quantitative background, but programming experience is not required.
MS in Real Estate is perfect for students interested in real estate or our current real estate BBA students as the department is now offering tracks in commercial real estate, applied real estate investment and private equity. RE306 is a prerequisite for the program.
MS in Supply Chain Management is an opportunity for students to learn more about the cross-functional business process of supply chain. We don’t want to run out of toilet paper again, so we need strong supply chain leaders! A lesson learned through the pandemic is the need to have strong supply chain channels.
Our new Professional MBA is a future option for BBA alumni. This program will allow our UW-Madison BBA alums to waive out of the functional core and start with a leadership core in January. They will only need to complete 3 out of the 4 badges, which means they will have a 30 credit MBA that can be done in a year while they work, plus at a lower cost than most MBA programs. Spring enrollment starts in January 2023, but it is never to early to start planning your future.
If you and your team have questions, please reach out to the MBA and Master’s admissions team. They are hosting a number of online events and have produced several on-demand web and pod casts for people to learn more about all the programs mentioned. They also have GMAT and GRE waivers for students who qualify. Application for Fall 2021 is now open!
