Mike Mathews is President of Economic Growth Advisors in Madison.
Mike Mathews was a principal in the Madison Business Advisory Services practice with Grant Thornton. He joined the firm in 2000 with 17 years of business experience in strategic planning, community economic development, community relations, business development, marketing and public and private finance.
Education
Mike graduated from University of Wisconsin–La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 1982, a Masters of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1984 and an Executive MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1995.
Mike’s formal education and professional training provide a broad understanding and appreciation of how individuals, public organizations and private firms make decisions and respond to change. He has initiated several innovative programs and achieved positive results within public- and private-sector organizations.
