In February, nearly 50 WSB alumni and friends gathered at The Battery in San Francisco for WSB in the Bay Area: A Conversation on Innovation, Starting Up, and Starting Over. The recent event showcased an esteemed panel of leaders and entrepreneurs who shared their journeys of innovation and learning through failure. During the program, Vallabh “Samba” Sambamurthy, Albert O. Nicholas Dean of WSB, also presented alum and venture capitalist Sean Jacobsohn (BBA ’94) with the WSB Impact Award, which recognizes his demonstrated service to the school. Guests enjoyed the opportunity to learn, network, and celebrate with fellow Bay Area Badgers.
