MADISON, WI – The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison proudly announces its impressive performance in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings, securing its position as one of the nation’s leading business schools. WSB is ranked #18 overall in a five-way tie and #9 among public universities, a testament to its commitment to recruiting and retaining world-class faculty.

These rankings underscore WSB’s unwavering dedication to academic excellence and its role as a leader in business education. WSB’s performance in specialty areas saw significant gains, with the management program rising to #20, marking a 10-spot climb over the past two years. Marketing also advanced, now ranked #8. The school continues to lead the nation in real estate at #1 and holds the #2 spot in insurance.

WSB’s real estate program continues to set the standard, maintaining its #1 ranking. “Maintaining the #1 ranking reflects our long-standing tradition of excellence in real estate education and research. Our faculty are leaders in shaping sustainable urban development, real estate finance, and market trends globally,” said Yongheng Deng, John P. Morgridge Distinguished Chair in Business and chair of the Department of Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. “The combination of intellectual depth and industry relevance equips our graduates to be influencers and innovators in the field.”
