Discovery to Product
Discovery to Product helps turn UW–Madison-based innovations into products. They do so through direct mentorship, guidance in navigating the university’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, and workshops and training opportunities.
Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic
The Business and Entrepreneurship Clinic, in collaboration with the Law and Entrepreneurship Clinic (L&E), the Wisconsin Institutes of Discovery, and WARF, will provide free business advice and services for Wisconsin-based entrepreneurs. Under the direction of Michael Williams, MBA students and senior level undergraduates undertake various projects that the businesses require.
Women’s Entrepreneurship Network
The Wisconsin School of Business, the Weinert Center for Entrepreneurship, and the Small Business Development Center provide a platform to help inspire, educate, and assist women interested in entrepreneurship at UW–Madison and in the community.
Initiative for Studies in Transformational Entrepreneurship (INSITE)
INSITE supports and fosters entrepreneurial research, curriculum development, and programming. As a primary resource for entrepreneurs, INSITE maintains a comprehensive directory of resources on campus and in the community.
Coursework
Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Courses
Business and nonbusiness majors can explore entrepreneurship to complement their field of study. Examine social entrepreneurship, new venture creation, management, finance, and creating businesses in technology and the arts.
Graduate Entrepreneurship Courses
You can earn a Certificate in Entrepreneurship or Strategic innovation while enrolled in any degree-granting graduate program at UW–Madison.
