Mr. Oharenko’s real estate career spans over four decades. John has been a board member and treasurer of the Selfreliance Federal Credit Union Board for over two decades, specializing in income-property realty finance.
Mr. Oharenko is a realty investor and advisor passionate about creating opportunities to promote smart growth and urban redevelopment within the workforce housing arena in the Chicagoland area. In addition to serving on the UWREAA Board, John is the Board Chairman of the Selfreliance Association, the nation’s largest refugee aid group serving immigrants from war-torn Ukraine. Lastly, John authored numerous books about real estate finance and property ownership responsibilities.
