Kurt Kober is a third generation Sheboyganite. A product of Sheboygan Public Schools, Mr. Kober graduated from UW-Green Bay, where he met his wife Abby. He received his MBA from UW-Madison’s Center for Brand and Product Management.
Since graduating, Mr. Kober has built a career in brand marketing and e-commerce, culminating in his current role as a Global Vice President, retail & e-commerce at The Honest Company. In his role Mr. Kober leads retailer go-to-market strategy, determining which retailers to partner with while developing joint marketing strategies that fuel the brand’s share and household penetration. He and his team developed and executed a seminal strategy that took the brand from direct-to-consumer only to omni-channel culminating in the company’s IPO in 2021.
Prior to joining The Honest Company, Mr. Kober spent a decade with The Clorox Company in Oakland, California in a variety of leadership roles including brand management, sales, operations and e-commerce.
Mr. Kober and his wife Abby split time, with their dogs Bucky & Bascom, between Sheboygan, San Francisco and Los Angeles. He also serves as Vice President of the Sheboygan Public Education Foundation.
