Michael (Mike) Komppa has been President of Corum Real Estate Group since he founded the firm in 1986. Since then, Mr. Komppa has led a diversified group of talented and experienced professionals involved in a variety of product types.
In 1986, Mr. Komppa formed Corum Real Estate Group with a group of key associates, and since then has orchestrated the development, acquisition and renovation of more than seven million square feet of commercial office, warehouse and apartment properties in the Colorado and Chicago area markets.
Mr. Komppa holds a B.S. in Engineering and an M.S. in Real Estate Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has served as President of the Colorado Commercial Mortgage Bankers Association and as President and Board Chairman of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP).
Mr. Komppa has served as Chair of ULI Colorado, and serves on the Small Scale Development Council of Urban Land Institute. He has also served as the President of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association, and continues on the WREAA Board, as well as on the Executive Committee of the University of Colorado Real Estate Council, and on the Board of Directors of Downtown Denver, Inc.
