EntrepreNews
Spring 2020
Greetings Alumni and Friends of the Weinert Center,
Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset is more important than ever. The last few months have brought significant challenges, but they also highlighted the greatness of human spirit. The stories of students, alumni, and board members that we share in this newsletter are few of those bright moments.
I would also like to share how proud I am of our WSB community. With the dedication of our faculty, staff, and students, we transitioned all our courses and activities online and quickly adapted to the new environment.
The current crisis is an illustration of how interconnected we all are. Without realizing it, we live enmeshed in a dense network of social, biological, and technological connections around the globe. Solving problems that emerge in the context of interdependence requires coordination and collaboration across many levels. Entrepreneurship and innovation were rarely a solitary effort in the past. However, the need to work together to address the challenges is very salient today. I am confident that our students are ready to play an active part in this process. Together Forward!
I hope you all stay safe and healthy!
